S. CRYSTAL CAVE AT HUPP'S HILL

After a long examination and many debates on the proposal for VAR to manage Crystal Cave at Hupp's Hill, the committee unanimously feels it is a great idea and would be a wonderful opportunity, but at this time we can not recommend that VAR undertake this venture. Operating with volunteers on a limited schedule of four public weekends a year and a few weekdays for school groups for donations only would not generate nearly enough income to cover the insurance and other fixed costs. The operation would have to be expand and be run as a business venture to generate enough income. Things can always change and it may be worth taking another look at at some future date.
